The Chiquita was modified to his requirements by adding a second floating KA 'Smooth Sam' humbucker in the bridge position. The pickup is attached to the reinforced finger-rest so is completely independent of the top of the guitar. We used Bourne 500K push/pull pots to provide the switching between pickups. This allowed us to avoid adding in a clumsy looking 3-way switch which in our opinion, would have spoiled the clean lines of the Chiquita's overall design.
