A big thanks to John VanWagoner who is our USA Agent and just happens to be a very talented master carpenter.
Here we have some pictures of a prototype wooden pickup cover he produced for our floating Kent Armstrong pickups to be fitted inside. This one is produced from Canadian hard maple and lacewood to test but we will also try some in birds eye and flame maple to give us a few options to decide.
The covers will need to be custom profiled to slip over the floating pickguard on the guitar, and will then need be stained and poly lacquered to finish.
